THE RED CABIN
STAY A LITTLE LONGER AT WYKEN
Opening November 2026
For the first time, you can make Wyken your home for the night.
Tucked away in our private nature reserve, The Red Cabin offers a peaceful Suffolk retreat for up to four guests, with a private Finnish sauna, an outdoor soaking tub and the food and wine of the Leaping Hare close at hand.
Settle in, switch off and enjoy a slower pace, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Wyken estate.
A PLACE TO UNWIND
Let the day unfold at your own pace. A slow morning, time spent watching the wildlife, an afternoon in the sauna or a long soak as evening draws in. The Red Cabin gives you space to pause and enjoy being here.
Come for a quiet weekend for two or a few days away with friends, with time to do as much or as little as you please.
A LITTLE MORE TIME FOR WYKEN
Linger over lunch at the Leaping Hare, discover a favourite Wyken wine or browse the Country Store. With somewhere to stay, there’s every reason to take your time.
If you’d like to dine with us during your stay, please reserve a table in advance and check our seasonal opening hours.
A LITTLE MORE TIME FOR WYKEN

The Red Cabin comfortably sleeps three, with a king-size bed and a single daybed. A floor mattress can be provided on request for a fourth guest, making it a lovely retreat for couples, small families or close friends.
-
Yes, children are very welcome. There’s plenty to spark their curiosity, from spotting wildlife to exploring the outdoors together.
Children must be supervised around the soaking tub, sauna and fires. A cot and fireguard are available on request for our youngest guests.
-
As The Red Cabin sits within our private nature reserve, we’re unable to welcome dogs. This helps us protect the wildlife that makes this corner of Wyken so special.
-
We usually ask for a minimum stay of two nights, giving you time to settle in, switch off and make the most of your surroundings. You can arrive on any day of the week.
Occasionally, a gap between bookings allows for a one-night escape. Sign up to The Wyken Newsletter to hear when these become available.
-
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10.30am. Before your stay, you’ll receive a welcome email with directions and everything you need to know.
