Vineyards

The seven acre vineyard lies 600 yards from the Leaping Hare at the other side of the ancient Wyken Wood, and was planted in 1988 on our best south facing slope.

We produce four white wines. Our ‘Wyken Bacchus’ has been winner of the English Vineyard Association’s ‘Wine of the Year’. More recently we have developed our own sparkling wine, ‘Wyken Moonshine’ and  a new rosé, ‘Wyken Pink’, and have launched our first ever beer, ‘Good Dog Ale’, a fresh, low-fizz ale delicious with food.

All of these may be tasted at the Leaping Hare Restaurant and Café. They are also available at the Leaping Hare Country Store.

You may visit the vineyard free of charge, and, if you wish, walk to it through the beautiful Wyken Wood.
