THE LEAPING HARE VINEYARD RESTAURANT
Bib Gourmand in the Michelin. In the'Good Food Guide' for 15 consecutive years Winner of the East Anglian Daily Times Restaurant of the Year.
Where possible we try to source our ingrdients from a five-mile radius, so our beef and lamb are local (and when possible from the Wyken farm.) Wild game--venison, pheasant, partridge, rabbit and pigeon are from the estate and fruit, herbs and vegetables from the kitchen garden as well as from Phil of Langham Herbs who is in the Farmers's Market every Saturday.
And naturally, our own wines--the vineyard is a couple hundred yards from the restaurant--but we also have a selection of 30 guest wines from our winemaking friends around the world.
The restaurant is open for lunch every day from 12am until 2pm and on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm until 9pm.
