 THE RESTAURANT

The Leaping Hare Vineyard Restaurant (Michelin and Good Food Guides)  and the winner of the East Anglian Daily Times Restaurant of the year 2007 serves distinctive seasonal food which perfectly complements the estate wines and wonderful surroundings. In January of 2008 The Leaping Hare was awarded a Michelin 'Bib Gourmand' and has retained this prestigious award in 2009 !

We source our food from local farmers, if possible. Lamb from Stowlangtoft, beef from Bardwell and venison, pheasant and pigeon from our own estate. Fruit, herbs and vegetables often come from our kitchen garden.

We have a carefully selected wine list that includes our own wines and guest wines chosen to complement our seasonal menu

The restaurant is open for lunch every day from 12am until 2pm and on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm until 9pm.

CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST ON A SUNDAY

On Sundays in the restaurant  we also offer a champagne breakfast from 10.30 - 12.00 for parties of 20 or more. Please call us for more details.

THE CAFE 

The café opens every day at 10.00am (9 a.m. on Saturdays) for breakfast or coffee and a bistro style menu is available in the café between 12 and 4.30pm.

In the afternoons we serve tea and coffee and light snacks.

 

DRINKS IN THE GARDEN

The garden is available for summer evening drinks parties.
